Lake Cushman is one of the most beautiful lakes I’ve ever seen, tucked away in the Southeastern corner of The Olympic National Park. It’s the epitome of summer and I was fortunate to have had several excursions to Cushman this past swimmin’ season. These photos document my last lake adventure of the year, and I didn’t even go in the water. Oh, how I regret it now, sitting on my couch, cuddling my cats for warmth while wearing two pairs of socks, feet in front of a space heater.

And then these photos, some of my favorite images snapped all year, taken the same session with a 1963 Olympus Pen EE half frame camera, scanned from 35mm negatives.
