Sometimes at the end of a busy week, a day of chores is exactly what I need to ease into an equally busy weekend. Today I tended the chickens, collected and washed eggs, cleaned the kitchen, raked leaves, filed papers and scoured the downstairs common bathroom. After a brief nap and dinner, I carved a couple pumpkins; one to scare the spirits away and one to make my housemates smile.
