Lakefair 2011

Every July, Lakefair descends upon Olympia, trampling its grass and overrunning downtown streets. As much as locals complain about Lakefair crowds, the event still manages to radiate small town charm. Brownie Hawkeye!

So the wonderful people at Evergreen’s Photoland developed the first roll of film I took with my adorable 1959 Kodak Brownie Hawkeye. Cape Lookout!

Cape Lookout, located in Cape Lookout State Park, is one of the best land-based vantage points for whale watching on the central Oregon coast.
