October Art @ Northern

For the month of October, Northern exhibited the work of two Seattle based artists, Kinoko and Team Nerd/ N. Adam Beadel. Kinoko paints and draws ethereal scenes, casting a variety of human yet animal-like characters within primitive, dreamlike atmospheres. Team Nerd/ N. Adam Beadel is a printmaker focusing on relief techniques with a DIY aesthetic. Continue Reading »

Halloween was a piecemeal holiday this year. At the last minute, housemate Shawn and I bought candy and candles, hoping to entice kids to venture up our long, dark driveway. haunted house?

Last week, a handful of intrepid would-be ghost hunters and myself made a special late night journey to a supposedly haunted house in a neighboring town.
